May Day Celebration Weekend with Chef Chadwick Boyd at Historic Old Edwards Inn

This has been a long time coming. Two years, in fact…

I am thrilled to share with you I am a featured chef at The Farm at The Old Edwards Inn for a very special May Day Celebration Dinner Sunday, May 15 from 5-7 p.m.

The multi-course dining experience held in the opulent dining room at The Farm at Old Edwards will be an evening of great joy and fun with very special touches. The menu is my homage to the 30+ years of living in Georgia and North Carolina. A delightful procession of drinks and dishes that pull from a region that has been the largest and most significant influence on my life.

A few taste teases include:

* Strawberry Rosé Spoon Jam with Rosemary-infused Gin

* Georgia Peanut Biscuits with Creamed Collards

* Spring Vegetable Pot Pie with Biscuit Crust

* Charred Vidalia Onion Blossom with Georgia Shrimp Ceviche and Sorrel Oil with Fresh Sorrel Salad

…and much more.

There will be live music outside on the grand lawn. Dancing around a traditionally-inspired maypole. And other surprises.

There is more to the weekend, too, with a fireside chat and biscuit demo on Saturday, May 14, Half-Mile Farm by Old Edwards, and champagne, biscuits, brunch and other bites peppered from Friday-Sunday May 13-15.
